Getting Started
So you've decided you want to give ShmaRO a shot. There's a few things you'll need to do before you can dive right in.
For starters, you'll need an account. Making an account is pretty simple -- just sign up. Fill out the form and hit submit. Voila, you've got yourself your very own account!
Next, you'll need to actually have the game. You can get it by following the instructions to download the game.
In the meantime while your game is downloading, you could try checking around the forums or by connecting to the ventrilo server at vent64.light-speed.com on port 5706, and begin meeting the community there. Or if you're new to Ragnarok Online, reading a guide to the game might be more help.
After you've finished downloading the game, you'll need to install it. The installer is fairly straight-forward: just hit the next button. If you find yourself having any issues with the installer, please let us know.
Once you've connected to the game, you're ready to play! Make yourself a spiffy new character. If you need help, you can find more details on that in the guides.
